Mountain Valley Rentals

Furnished homes and bungalows in Chiang Mai's Mae Rim valley — a lush, mountainous area about twenty minutes north of the city centre. Each property in this category has been selected for its setting, its garden or outdoor space, and its practicality for day-to-day life. Properties are near nature trails, organic farms, and local hill tribe markets.

These are available for stays of one to three months. They're suited to nature enthusiasts, writers seeking a quieter working environment, or families wanting a slower-paced stay with convenient access to Chiang Mai when needed.

The service acknowledges that living outside the city centre requires different considerations — and addresses those factors methodically rather than treating them as secondary details.

Each property recommendation includes practical observations about the aspects of mountain living that listings rarely mention. Viewings are accompanied, and the service continues through lease completion, including support at the negotiation and signing stages.

Service 03

Mountain Property Stewardship

Monthly care for tenants in rural or semi-rural properties, covering the considerations specific to mountain living. This service exists because highland properties — surrounded by vegetation, subject to heavier rainfall, and sometimes dependent on less robust infrastructure — benefit from consistent, attentive monitoring.

Each monthly visit covers a property walk-through, garden and outdoor area inspection, pest and moisture checks, coordination with local maintenance providers if needed, and communication with the landlord where relevant. Photo documentation is shared after every visit.

Cancellable with 30 days' notice. No minimum contract term.

Rainy season note: May through October requires more vigilant attention for highland properties. Our visits during this period pay particular attention to drainage, moisture ingress, and pest activity.
